President of Organization for Investment, Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran said that Iran achieved the first rank in the growth of foreign direct investment during last year.

As reported by the Department of Public Relations, Organization for Investment, Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran, quoting from ISNA, Behrouz Alishiri on the sideline of the one-day forum on introducing investment opportunities of Iran, held in Kuala Lumpur, talking with the ISNA correspondence in South East Asia, said: In this forum, around 40 Iranian companies introduced more than 200 projects to Malaysian investors, though more than 250 Malaysian companies attended the forum.

Man Mohan Singh, Indian Prime Minister in the meeting with Seyed Shamseddin Hosseini, Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, conveying his warm greetings to the president of our country, said: The relations between the two countries, Iran and India are deep and hundreds of years old, and in the present conditions it is needed to diagnose the obstacles to bilateral cooperation, and take measures to speed up economic relations.
